About the role
This is a retraining opportunity for a qualified Solicitor or Barrister who wishes to develop a career in prosecutions. Comprehensive training, mentoring and support are provided to help you transition into public‑service criminal law.
Key responsibilities
- Join a respected organisation and retrain as a specialist Prosecutions Lawyer.
- Gain experience across a broad and varied caseload of criminal law matters.
- Manage complex cases, contributing to the delivery of justice.
- Develop specialist prosecutorial knowledge, case‑management and advocacy skills.
Required profile
- Qualified Solicitor or Barrister from any area of law.
- Strong advocacy, written and verbal communication abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a genuine commitment to public service.
- Previous contentious experience is advantageous but not essential.
