About the role
Join a specialised school in Watford as a Psychology Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant. This full‑time, contract position offers recent psychology graduates hands‑on experience supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, ADD, SEMH and other additional learning needs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to enhance learning, confidence and engagement.
- Apply psychology knowledge to develop and deliver targeted interventions for SEN pupils.
- Assist in creating a safe, supportive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with teachers to plan and monitor progress for students with additional needs.
Required profile
- A degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Availability to work during standard school hours.
- Proactive, flexible and enthusiastic attitude.
- Patience, creativity and resilience when supporting diverse learners.
