Pupil Transport Minibus Driver (Part‑Time, Term‑Time)

About the role

Worth School is seeking three part‑time Minibus Drivers to transport pupils safely between school and approved locations during term time. This role is essential to the daily routine, ensuring a reliable and welcoming travel experience for students.

Key responsibilities

• Safely transport pupils to and from school and other approved locations.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and weekly under‑bonnet inspections.
• Maintain accurate journey mileage and pupil attendance records.
• Complete routine vehicle administration and maintenance checks.
• Report any vehicle defects, damage or concerns promptly to the Transport Manager.
• Keep minibuses clean, presentable and ready for use.
• Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive environment for pupils during their journey.

Required profile

• Responsible, approachable and committed to pupil safety.
• Essential D1 driving licence.
• Confident and competent driving skills.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• Understanding of child protection and safeguarding responsibilities.
• Commitment to ongoing professional and personal development.
