QTS English & Maths Tutor – Part‑Time (Rochdale)

About the role

We are seeking a Qualified Teacher (QTS) to deliver one‑to‑one English and Maths tuition to secondary‑aged pupils in Rochdale. The role starts in September 2026 and offers flexible, part‑time hours during school time, allowing you to make a tangible impact on students' confidence and academic progress.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver personalised English and Maths lessons for individual learners.
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to maximise outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records in line with safeguarding and company procedures.
• Build positive, professional relationships that encourage engagement and achievement.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
• Minimum six months of UK‑based teaching experience with secondary pupils.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) and right to work in the UK.
• Strong communication, organisation and classroom management abilities.
