Qualified Bus Driver – Full‑time – £15.40‑£21.25/hr

About the role

Arriva London is looking for qualified PCV bus drivers to join its fleet across London garages. This full‑time position offers a competitive hourly rate, overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package while helping keep the capital moving.

Key responsibilities

• Safely transport commuters, tourists and students on scheduled routes.
• Adhere to timetables, traffic regulations and company safety standards.
• Conduct pre‑journey vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Provide excellent customer service, assisting passengers as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of hours, mileage and incidents.

Required profile

• Valid PCV licence (Category D) and at least 18 years of age.
• No more than six penalty points on the licence.
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and people skills.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
