Qualified Early Years Educator (8am-1pm)

About the role

Miss Daisy's Nursery Schools are seeking a qualified Early Years Educator to join the Hyde Park setting on a part‑time basis (8am‑1pm). You will deliver high‑quality care and education to children aged 0‑5, supporting their development in line with the EYFS framework.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement stimulating EYFS‑appropriate activities.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
• Observe, assess and record each child's progress, flagging any concerns.
• Collaborate with parents and staff to meet individual needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery.
• Follow health, safety and safeguarding procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting.
• Patience, empathy and a genuine love for working with children.
• Knowledge of child development theories and relevant legislation.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Required skills

• Paediatric First Aid.
• Implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Safeguarding and child protection procedures.
