Qualified Early Years Educator – Flexible Roles Near Bassingbourn

About the role
We are partnering with a range of nurseries, preschools and day nurseries around Bassingbourn and the South Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border. The aim is to place qualified early years educators in flexible day‑to‑day cover or fixed‑term positions, allowing you to choose the pattern that best fits your lifestyle.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum in a play‑based environment.
- Support children’s development across all EYFS areas, fostering curiosity and confidence.
- Manage behaviour using nurturing, positive strategies.
- Adapt quickly to different nursery settings and team dynamics.
- Provide continuity of care during maternity, sickness or interim gaps.
Required profile
- Relevant EYFS qualification – CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3, Foundation Degree, or EYTS/QTS.
- Strong understanding of the statutory EYFS framework.
- Proactive, adaptable and ready to start in new environments.
- Valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
