Qualified Electrician – Domestic & Social Housing

About the role
We are seeking a qualified Electrician to ensure the quality, safety and regulatory compliance of electrical works across a portfolio of domestic properties and projects within the borough.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out electrical testing and inspections on domestic installations.
- Prepare and issue certification and sign‑off documentation in line with current regulations.
- Maintain compliance with the NHF Schedule of Rates and relevant standards.
- Record and report findings, ensuring any defects are rectified promptly.
- Provide technical advice to clients and collaborate with the wider maintenance team.
Required profile
- City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition or equivalent electrical qualification.
- Minimum three years’ experience working in a social housing environment.
- Strong knowledge of the NHF Schedule of Rates.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
