About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking qualified History teachers to support secondary schools across the Midlands. You will deliver engaging History lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils, with occasional Key Stage 5 opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver dynamic History lessons that develop critical thinking and evidence analysis.
- Cover the curriculum for KS3, KS4 and, where applicable, KS5.
- Adapt teaching approaches to suit a range of school settings and student abilities.
- Maintain classroom discipline and manage learning environments effectively.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Experience teaching History in UK secondary schools.
- Strong curriculum knowledge and classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the UK.
