About the role

We are seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join our finance team in London SE18. The role involves preparing management accounts, supporting ERP transition and delivering commercial analysis to drive performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts and annual budgets with clear variance analysis.
• Support the transition from the existing ERP system to Business Central or a similar platform and contribute to ongoing system development.
• Manage core month‑end processes, including journals, accruals, pre‑payments and balance‑sheet reconciliations, and oversee bank reconciliations.
• Deliver commercial analysis across revenue, margins and overall performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with finance and non‑finance teams, providing support and development to junior colleagues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across reporting, controls and financial processes.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (or exceptional candidate with equivalent qualifications).
• Strong background in management accounting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Understanding of revenue recognition and work‑in‑progress reporting.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.

What we offer

• Annual salary of £55,000‑£65,000 depending on experience.
