Qualified Teacher Tutor – Primary & Secondary (London)

About the role

Reeson Education is expanding its Outreach Team and seeks qualified teachers to provide one‑to‑one tuition for primary and secondary learners across London. The role offers flexible hours (10‑20 per week) and can be delivered online, in the learner’s home, or in a community setting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition that meets the individual needs of each learner.
• Plan engaging sessions aligned with curriculum standards.
• Support learners’ educational progress, confidence and attendance.
• Collaborate with families, schools, Local Authorities and the Outreach Team.
• Provide regular feedback on attendance, progress and outcomes.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching at primary and/or secondary level.
• Flexible, child‑centred approach.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (preferred).
• Previous SEND experience desirable but not essential.

Required skills

• Lesson planning and delivery.
• Adaptability to virtual and face‑to‑face settings.
• Effective stakeholder communication.
