Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading civil engineering contractor in Scotland. You will be responsible for managing costs, contracts and commercial performance on large‑scale infrastructure projects, ensuring financial control and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts and cost plans.
• Administer contracts and manage subcontractor accounts.
• Monitor project progress and produce accurate financial reports.
• Identify and manage risks, variations and claims.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Proven experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
