Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Finlay Jude Associates Limited are seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their growing infrastructure team. You will support the commercial delivery of water and wastewater projects, ensuring costs are controlled and value is maximised.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare take‑offs, measurements and pricing of works.
• Manage and assess subcontractor accounts.
• Report on completed works and forecast project costs.
• Support preparation and submission of payment applications.
• Identify value‑engineering opportunities across operations and commercial processes.
• Monitor project costs and identify efficiencies to maximise margins.
• Work closely with operational teams to achieve commercial objectives.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and reporting.

Required profile

• Experience pricing groundworks and civil engineering projects.
• Knowledge of cost reporting and commercial forecasting.
• Experience managing subcontractor accounts.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proactive approach with strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
