Quantity Surveyor - Landscaping Services

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will support a range of landscaping projects, delivering accurate cost planning and commercial control. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors and clients to ensure projects are delivered profitably and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost plans, feasibility studies, tender documentation and cost estimates from drawings, specifications and bills of quantities.
• Source, negotiate and manage subcontractors and suppliers for soft and hard landscaping works.
• Administer JCT, NEC or bespoke subcontract agreements.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow and forecasts; produce interim valuations, payment applications, variations and final accounts.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks while ensuring health, safety, environmental and sustainability compliance.
• Provide regular cost reports to senior management and support site and client meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within external works, maintenance, landscaping or facilities management.
• Highly numerate with strong analytical and reporting abilities.
• Confident communicator able to manage clients and subcontractors.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and driven to improve commercial performance.
• Ambitious mindset with a desire to enhance processes in a growing business.
