About the role

We are seeking an intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a fast‑growing subcontractor in the commercial fencing sector. The role offers autonomy, a clear progression path to Senior Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager, and a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

Manage applications for payment and monthly valuations
Prepare and agree variations and final accounts
Review subcontract terms and negotiate conditions
Produce CVRs and monthly cost reports
Support project delivery teams with commercial input

Required profile

Quantity Surveying experience within a subcontractor or main contractor environment
Strong understanding of JCT contracts
Experience with CVRs, applications and variations
Commercially aware with strong attention to detail
Confident communicator with clients and internal teams

Required skills

JCT contract knowledge
Cost control and financial reporting
CVR preparation
Application and variation management
