Reach Truck Driver – Warehouse Colleague

About the role

We are looking for full‑time Reach Truck Drivers to join Wincanton Dedicated Grocery and help deliver orders to Sainsbury’s local convenience stores. The role involves operating reach and counter‑balance trucks in a multi‑temperature warehouse, including a freezer environment, while maintaining a safety‑first approach.

Key responsibilities

• Operate reach trucks and counter‑balance trucks to pick and move goods.
• Deliver orders to Sainsbury’s local stores according to schedule.
• Work in both ambient and freezer zones, wearing full PPE.
• Meet daily targets and service requirements.
• Follow verbal and written instructions accurately.

Required profile

• Previous experience operating reach trucks (warehouse experience preferred but not essential).
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Motivated, flexible and able to adapt to a 24/7 depot.
• Ability to work safely in a multi‑temperature environment.

• Permanent contract with 29‑32 days holiday (depending on service length).
