Recruitment Consultant – Accountancy Practice (Hybrid)

About the role

Pro‑Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join its Accountancy Practice division. You will work primarily from our Peterborough office, with one day per week in our London office and flexible home‑working arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of accountancy practice clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
• Source, interview and place candidates across audit, tax and other accountancy functions.
• Provide career advice to candidates and act as a trusted advisor to clients.
• Meet and exceed individual and team revenue targets, including commission and bonuses.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored recruitment strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within finance or accountancy sectors.
• High drive, competitiveness and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a persuasive, relationship‑focused personality.
• Reliability and commitment to delivering on promises.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the UK accountancy practice market.
• Ability to manage multiple client and candidate pipelines.
• Effective negotiation and closing techniques.
