About the role
Join Reed’s nationally recognised Education recruitment team and help schools across the UK secure the teaching and support staff they need. As a Recruitment Consultant you will work with a vast network of educators and use industry‑leading tools to match candidates with permanent, temporary and urgent supply roles.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with local schools and educational settings.
- Source, interview and place teachers, teaching assistants and SEND specialists.
- Provide same‑day supply cover for urgent staffing needs.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle from job brief to successful placement.
- Ensure safeguarding and compliance standards are met throughout the process.
- Grow your desk through proactive business development and client outreach.
Required profile
- Experience in recruitment, resourcing or sales is highly advantageous.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive, target‑driven mindset with an ethical approach to recruitment.
