Recruitment Consultant – Engineering Division

About the role

Reed Southend is expanding its engineering division and is looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to own a warm desk, develop a specialist market and drive permanent placements.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture client relationships through proactive outbound business development.
• Source, engage and place high‑quality engineering candidates for permanent roles.
• Write compelling job adverts, headhunt, network and use social media to maintain a strong talent pool.
• Grow the desk by winning new clients and delivering consistent revenue.

Required profile

• Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within engineering or a related sector.
• Strong phone presence, confident communicator and relationship builder.
• Organised, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
