Recruitment Consultant – Permanent (South East England)

About the role

First Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join its Permanent Division in Hove. This sales‑driven position will see you managing the full recruitment lifecycle while building strong client relationships across the South East.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process (360) from vacancy intake to placement.
• Develop and nurture existing client accounts and win new business opportunities.
• Advertise vacancies, source and assess suitable candidates.
• Conduct candidate interviews, manage offers and negotiate terms.
• Consistently meet activity and revenue targets.
• Build market presence through networking and business development.
• Deliver exceptional service to both clients and candidates.

Required profile

• Proven recruitment experience with a strong sales and business‑development mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, competitive environment.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
• Self‑motivated, resilient and highly organised.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
