Recruitment Consultant – Public Sector (Wanstead, London)

About the role

One World Recruitment Ltd is seeking an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join its Wanstead office, focusing on the public sector. You will manage the full recruitment cycle for public‑sector clients and work closely with neutral vendors and managed service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end 360 recruitment process for temporary and permanent roles.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with public‑sector clients.
• Advertise vacancies, source and screen high‑quality candidates.
• Interview, register applicants and ensure compliance throughout onboarding.
• Liaise with hiring managers and neutral vendors such as Matrix, Prism, Cnet and SAP Fieldglass.
• Develop and maintain a personal candidate pipeline.
• Achieve individual and team recruitment targets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in public‑sector recruitment.
• Proven track record of filling temporary and/or permanent vacancies.
• Experience working with neutral vendors (Matrix, Prism, Cnet, SAP Fieldglass).
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Proactive, target‑driven attitude.
