Registered Nurse – Specialist Residential College (Lancaster)

About the role
This full‑time, permanent position is based at a specialist residential college in Lancaster, supporting young adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex health needs. You will combine hands‑on nursing care with clinical leadership to help residents live safe, fulfilling and independent lives.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care and develop personalised care plans.
- Lead medicines management and perform complex clinical procedures.
- Train, coach and assess support staff in delegated clinical tasks.
- Collaborate closely with families, multidisciplinary professionals and safeguarding teams.
- Promote safe practice, continuous quality improvement and compliance with regulations.
Required profile
- Current NMC registration (RGN, RMN or RNLD).
- Experience in adult health, social care or specialist education settings.
- Strong clinical assessment and leadership abilities.
- Confidence in mentoring colleagues and supporting best practice.
- Passion for delivering person‑centred care.
