Registered Veterinary Nurse – Medical Bias

About the role
We’re seeking a confident veterinary nurse with an interest in medical nursing. In this role you will be taking the lead in caring for patients across both the first opinion and referral sides of the hospital, ensuring every patient receives the very best care supported by a talented and experienced team of RVNs.
Key responsibilities
- Lead patient care across first‑opinion and referral services.
- Support patients through treatment and recovery phases.
- Monitor anaesthetics when required.
- Manage Continuous Rate Infusions (CRIs) and indwelling catheters.
- Handle a wide variety of complex medical and surgical cases.
Required profile
- RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Certification in ECC or medical nursing (advantageous).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high‑pressure environment.
Required skills
- Continuous Rate Infusions (CRIs).
- Indwelling catheters.
- Monitoring of anaesthetic equipment.
