Regulatory Business Analyst – AXIOM (Hybrid, London)

About the role

Our client, a global bank, is seeking a Regulatory Business Analyst to join the International Controllers change‑management team on a time‑bound AXIOM reporting project. The role is hybrid, requiring three days per week onsite in London, and runs initially until the end of 2026 with a view to extension.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver APAC regulatory reporting requirements within the AXIOM infrastructure.
• Write user stories and collaborate with technology teams using Agile Scrum methodology.
• Minimise operational risk by automating manual processes with Alteryx, Power BI or other digital tools.
• Analyse regulatory guidance (CRR, FRTB, FINREP, etc.) and provide SME insights for reporting modules.
• Document processes and decisions throughout project delivery.
• Support internal APAC initiatives and the broader strategic AXIOM platform.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in regulatory reporting, preferably with AxiomSL.
• Experience in data strategy, financial, capital or liquidity reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and independent thinking abilities.
• Certified Accountant preferred or equivalent finance qualification.
