Regulatory Solicitor – Business Crime & Regulatory

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Associate Solicitor to join its Business Crime & Regulatory team in Leeds. You will work on high‑profile investigations, prosecutions and advisory matters for corporate and individual clients across a range of sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and represent clients on Business Crime and Regulatory matters, including health & safety, environmental and transport regulations.
• Manage complex investigations and prosecutions involving regulators such as the HSE, Environment Agency, DVSA, CQC and local authorities.
• Handle multi‑agency health & safety prosecutions and regulatory enforcement actions.
• Represent clients in criminal and regulatory proceedings before the courts.
• Provide advice on insurance‑backed litigation, policy coverage and claims handling.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering commercially focused advice.
• Supervise and mentor junior solicitors and contribute to business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with at least 6 years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Demonstrated experience in regulatory investigations, prosecutions and advisory work.
• Ambitious, collaborative and able to manage a varied caseload independently.
• Commitment to professional standards and continuous development.
