Relief Recovery Support Worker – Mental Health

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Relief Recovery Support Worker to join our Mental Health Supported Accommodation service in Reading. In this temporary full‑time position you will provide person‑centred support to adults with mental health needs, helping them develop daily living skills and achieve personal goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist service users in developing daily living skills and accessing educational, vocational and leisure activities.
• Build confidence, self‑esteem, hope and positive coping strategies.
• Co‑create and review person‑centred support plans focused on recovery and wellbeing.
• Implement risk management and safeguarding guidelines.
• Collaborate within a supportive, consistent team environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience supporting individuals with mental health needs.
• Motivated, resource‑ful and committed to person‑centred care.
• Eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Ability to work flexibly across shifts using our staff app.
