Renewable Energy Investment Banking M&A Intern

About the role

We are seeking a motivated intern to support our Renewable Energy Investment Banking team in London. The role offers hands‑on experience in M&A transactions across the European renewable‑energy sector, working alongside senior bankers on live mandates and pitch work.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth company and sector analysis and build financial models for pitches and live deals.
• Translate analytical findings into concise client recommendations and presentation materials.
• Draft deal marketing documents, internal investment presentations and other client‑facing documentation.
• Assist in coordinating due‑diligence activities and managing workstreams with external advisers.
• Support firm‑wide marketing initiatives, including preparing pitch decks and strengthening client relationships.

Required profile

• Top academic results from a leading university.
• Strong interest in investment banking and the renewable‑energy sector.
• 0‑1 years of relevant internship experience in investment banking, consulting or energy.
• Ability to work under pressure in a collaborative environment and interact with senior industry counterparties.
• High level of initiative and maturity.

Required skills

• Excellent analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Fluency in English; additional European language is a plus.
