Rental Desk Executive – Photographic Equipment Rental

About the role

We are seeking a Rental Desk Executive to join Direct Digital’s sales team in Park Royal, London. In this customer‑facing position you will support photographers and moving‑image professionals by managing rental and sales orders for a wide range of camera and lighting equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients and process rental and sales orders via phone, email and face‑to‑face, aiming to exceed expectations and meet sales targets.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of Direct Digital’s camera and lighting inventory and communicate features, benefits and alternative solutions.
• Source equipment from external suppliers when required, negotiate pricing and coordinate timely delivery and return.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal colleagues through clear communication.
• Participate in training, read manuals and stay updated on industry trends to enhance product expertise.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar rental or sales role, preferably within photography or moving‑image services.
• Strong interest and understanding of photographic principles, cameras and lighting.
• Proficiency with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• High initiative, attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
