Resales & Staircasing Officer (Hybrid, London)

About the role

This hybrid position supports a large housing association by managing a portfolio of shared‑ownership resales, staircasing transactions and vacant property disposals. You will act as the primary contact for customers, guiding them from instruction through to legal completion while ensuring a high‑quality, customer‑focused service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of resales, staircasing and void property disposals.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers throughout each transaction.
• Progress cases efficiently, accurately and in line with agreed targets.
• Liaise with solicitors, agents and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Support continuous improvement of processes and service delivery.

Required profile

• Residential conveyancing experience.
• Strong customer service and case‑management background.
• Proven ability to handle a high‑volume workload and meet deadlines/KPIs.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Attention to detail and good Microsoft Office proficiency.

What we offer

• Hybrid working – 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.
• Initial 3‑month contract with potential extension.
• £23.57 per hour PAYE, 35 hours per week, Monday‑Friday.
