Residential Childcare Tutor (Remote)

About the role

Oakmoor Recruitment is seeking an experienced Residential Childcare Tutor to deliver apprenticeships remotely. You will support learners aiming for CYP/Residential Childcare qualifications, using e‑learning tools and a variety of assessment methods.

Key responsibilities

• Train, assess and motivate Residential Childcare learners throughout their apprenticeship.
• Utilise e‑learning platforms and diverse assessment techniques to capture learner evidence.
• Develop, implement and evaluate approved training materials, ensuring standardisation.
• Monitor learner progress, conduct regular progression reviews and provide additional support where needed.
• Maintain high standards of learner completion and timely qualification achievement.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years occupational experience in a Residential Childcare setting.
• L3 or higher qualification in Residential Childcare.
• Experience delivering Residential Childcare apprenticeships.
• Assessor award (e.g., TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33) – preferred.
• Teaching qualification – desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Full UK driving licence.
