Residential Conveyancer – Taunton (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join our family‑friendly firm in Taunton. The role offers a mix of autonomy and support, allowing you to manage a varied caseload while benefiting from a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage residential conveyancing matters from instruction to post‑completion, including freehold, leasehold, remortgages, equity release and transfers of equity.
• Handle matrimonial conveyancing and leasehold disputes as required.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with statutory deadlines.
• Provide clear client communication and advice throughout the transaction process.
• Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives on a voluntary basis.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive (CILEX) with at least 2 years residential conveyancing experience.
• Proven ability to run files independently with minimal supervision.
• Unqualified candidates with substantial experience managing their own caseload are also welcome.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality service in a supportive team.
