Residential Property Solicitor (3+ years PQE)

About the role

Harrison Drury is seeking a qualified solicitor to join its Residential Property team in Kendal. The role involves managing a busy caseload of residential property transactions and providing high‑quality advice to clients and agents.

Key responsibilities

• Handle purchases, sales and re‑mortgages of freehold and leasehold properties.
• Liaise with agents, clients and other service‑line teams to ensure smooth transaction progress.
• Provide regular updates, advice and draft documentation to clients and agents.
• Maintain and update the firm’s case management system.
• Support business development and marketing activities.
• Assist senior solicitors as required and contribute to team objectives.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years post‑qualification experience in residential conveyancing.
• Strong communication skills and a client‑focused approach.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage own caseload and pay keen attention to detail.
• Proficient IT skills and confidence using case management software.

Required skills

• Residential conveyancing/property law expertise.
• Experience with the SOS case management system.
