Residential Surveyor (Homebuyer & Building Surveys)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Residential Surveyor to join a specialist building surveying business that delivers high‑quality Homebuyer (Level 2) and Building (Level 3) surveys across the South West. The role is primarily home‑based with regular travel to client sites in Bristol, Bath, Swindon and Gloucester.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Homebuyer Level 2 surveys and produce accurate reports.
• Carry out Building Level 3 surveys, including detailed inspections and documentation.
• Travel to client properties and coordinate site visits efficiently.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Collaborate with estate agents and ensure compliance with RPSA standards.

Required profile

• Some experience delivering Homebuyer and/or Building surveys.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present findings clearly.
• Valid driving licence for site travel.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently after initial training.
• Commitment to professional development and chartership.

Required skills

• Homebuyer Level 2 survey execution.
• Building Level 3 survey execution.
• Survey report writing.
