Revenue Accountant – Central London

About the role

We are seeking a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) to lead the revenue accounting function for a fast‑growing media business in Central London. The role will own the end‑to‑end Order‑to‑Cash process, ensure accurate revenue recognition under FRS 102 and provide commercial insights to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Own the complete Order‑to‑Cash (O2C) cycle, including billing, invoicing, reconciliations and month‑end reporting.
• Manage revenue accounting and recognition in line with FRS 102.
• Produce detailed revenue analysis, forecasts and performance reports for senior leadership.
• Partner with Sales, Operations and Delivery teams to improve commercial processes and controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, audit requirements and board‑level reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting quality and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant.
• Proven experience as a Revenue Accountant, Financial Accountant, Management Accountant or in a revenue finance role.
• Strong understanding of FRS 102 and revenue recognition principles.
• Experience in media, advertising, technology, SaaS or high‑growth commercial environments is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with finance systems such as Salesforce, Accounting Seed, NetSuite, Sage Intacct or similar ERP platforms.
