Revit Technician

About the role

Join AECOM’s Water Engineering team in Glasgow as a Revit Technician, working within a flexible hybrid model. You will contribute to the design and delivery of water infrastructure projects for major utilities, using cutting‑edge digital tools and BIM processes.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and lead BIM behaviours across projects, encouraging digital‑first design reviews.
• Manage Revit deliverables for multiple assignments, ensuring they meet budget and quality standards.
• Create and maintain Revit models with appropriate level of detail, metadata, and classification data.
• Support the Digital Engineering Lead in up‑holding CAD standards, best practices, and advanced digital workflows.
• Participate actively in design team meetings, championing 3D model reviews and mark‑ups.
• Mentor junior Revit Technicians across Scotland offices, providing technical guidance.

Required profile

• Intermediate to advanced experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and common data environments.
• Proven ability to produce high‑quality BIM deliverables on time and within budget.
• Strong collaborative mindset, able to work with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
