Salaried Partner – Commercial Property (Senior Associate)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Associate or Salaried Partner to join our Commercial Property team in Guildford. The role combines fee‑earning legal work with business development, supporting the firm’s growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on commercial, development and investment property matters, including acquisitions and disposals.
• Assist the department in meeting fee‑earning targets and KPI objectives.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, contributing to their training and development.
• Maintain and expand a client and referrer base through proactive business development.
• Participate in practice development, marketing activities and firm‑wide initiatives.
• Travel to client meetings domestically and internationally as required.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory procedures and maintain professional knowledge, including CPD requirements.

Required profile

• Good honours degree followed by LPC and training contract with PSC, or SQE qualification with relevant experience.
• High level of technical competence in commercial property law with minimal supervision.
• Strong commercial awareness and good management abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
• Computer literate with the ability to enhance system use in the functional area.
• Sound understanding of professional conduct, client care, confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
