Sales Assistant (Part‑time, Retail)

About the role

Join Savers as a part‑time Sales Assistant in Poole, working around 8 hours a week with the possibility of additional shifts. You will be the friendly face of the store, helping customers find great deals and ensuring the shop looks inviting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers on the shop floor, providing product information and recommendations.
• Maintain store standards, including visual merchandising and cleanliness.
• Operate the checkout and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Support flexible shift patterns across mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
• Engage with the local community to promote store offers.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about retail and customer service.
• Enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑oriented with a positive, can‑do attitude.
• Willing to work flexible part‑time hours.

Required skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Basic numeracy for cash handling.
• Ability to follow visual merchandising guidelines.
