About the role

The South’s leading retailer of carpets, flooring and beds is looking for an experienced and dynamic Carpet & Flooring Salesperson to join its busy Poole store. As a family‑owned business with five South‑of‑England branches, the role offers clear pathways for career progression for the right candidate. You will be part of a team that puts employees and customers at the heart of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Serve customers in the showroom, communicating effectively with people from all walks of life.
• Maintain sales figures and achieve targets through proactive selling.
• Handle ordering, stock control and ensure the showroom is kept up‑to‑date.
• Assist with visual merchandising and keep the store environment tidy and attractive.

Required profile

• Motivated and confident individual eager to contribute to a successful team.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in flooring or carpet retail.
