Sales Engineer

About the role

Meech International is looking for a Sales Engineer to develop and grow sales of its full product range across the UK and Ireland. The role is based at the company’s head office in Witney, Oxfordshire and involves regular travel throughout the territory.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively develop new prospects and leads to maintain a strong order pipeline for all Meech products.
• Maximise penetration of existing repeat customers and increase market coverage each year.
• Collaborate with the Business Development team to align market‑coverage strategies.
• Create regional plans for call planning across multi‑national key accounts, national accounts and smaller transactional users.
• Conduct telephone, email and LinkedIn prospecting and follow‑up of sales leads and marketing campaigns.
• Plan, schedule and prioritise efficient sales trips across the UK and Ireland.

Required profile

• Willingness to travel regularly across the UK and Ireland, with frequent stays away from home.
• A clean UK driving licence.
• Proven B2B technical sales ability and solid commercial understanding, ideally within a related industry.
• Technical background or aptitude and ability to adopt both consultative and transactional selling styles.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for networking, relationship building, negotiating and influencing.
• Self‑motivated, achievement‑driven, organised and logical.
