Sales Estimator

About the role

Our client, a family‑owned manufacturer and distributor of window and door hardware, is seeking a Sales Estimator to join their office team. You will be responsible for producing accurate quotations and supporting the sales process in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email.
• Prepare accurate quotations and process orders.
• Follow up quotes to secure sales and identify upsell opportunities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer records and quotation information.
• Send product samples and information to customers.
• Support the sales team during busy periods and build knowledge of the product range.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer‑facing sales or estimating role.
• Professional telephone manner and strong communication skills.
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and proactive customer service.
• Experience in construction, trade, hardware or building products is advantageous.

Required skills

• Confident use of Microsoft Outlook.
• Confident use of Microsoft Word.
• Confident use of Microsoft Excel.

What we offer

• Full‑time, office‑based role (Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑5:00 pm).
• Salary £25,000 per year.
