Sales Manager – Residential Estate Agency

About the role

The client is a well‑established residential estate agency operating across southern England and Wales. They are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead a busy sales team, drive revenue growth and ensure an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the branch’s sales department.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of negotiators and support staff.
• Generate new business through valuations, instructions and proactive networking.
• Track and report on KPIs, sales targets and overall team activity.
• Conduct regular one‑to‑ones and performance reviews.
• Maintain a consistently excellent customer experience throughout the sales journey.
• Carry out market appraisals and convert opportunities into signed instructions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with local market trends and competitor activity.
• Ensure full compliance with property legislation and internal standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to maximise cross‑selling opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential property sales, preferably at management or senior negotiator level.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Target‑driven, commercially minded approach.
• Solid understanding of the sales process and relevant property legislation.
• Ability to lead from the front and build a high‑performance culture.
