Sales Negotiator – Residential Property Sales

About the role

As a Sales Negotiator you will manage the full sales cycle of residential properties, from the first enquiry right through to completion. You will generate new business, match buyers with suitable homes, negotiate offers and provide a high level of service to both vendors and buyers.

Key responsibilities

• Register applicant enquiries and match buyers to suitable properties.
• Book and conduct property viewings, delivering prompt feedback.
• Generate market appraisals and support the Valuer/Manager in winning new instructions.
• Negotiate offers between buyers and sellers to achieve the best outcome.
• Progress sales through exchange and completion, liaising with solicitors, mortgage brokers and surveyors.
• Proactively call the database daily to generate viewings, valuations and instructions.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date CRM with accurate applicant, property and offer details.
• Produce property particulars, arrange photography/floor‑plans and ensure compliant marketing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, buyers and local contacts.
• Stay informed on local market conditions, comparable prices and competitor activity.
• Ensure full compliance with AML, GDPR and property misdescription regulations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in estate agency sales (essential) or strong sales/customer‑service background (desirable).
• Excellent communication, negotiation and rapport‑building skills.
• Highly organised, self‑motivated and target‑driven.
• Full UK driving licence and own car (essential for viewings and valuations).
• Strong local area knowledge preferred.

Required skills

• Confidence using CRM systems (e.g., Reapit, Jupix, Rightmove, Zoopla).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
