Sales Support – Customer‑focused Administration Role

About the role

We are recruiting for a full‑time Sales Support position in Chichester for a dynamic SME operating in engineering, construction and manufacturing. The role focuses on enhancing customer relationships, streamlining communication and supporting the sales and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via email, phone or website.
• Manage quotations, order confirmations and production paperwork to support sales activities.
• Coordinate customer orders with internal teams including sales, production, finance and design.
• Provide administrative assistance to the Managing Director and support marketing initiatives.
• Help prepare for industry shows and provide general team support.
• Liaise with shipping and warehouse teams on dispatch schedules and commercial invoices.

Required profile

• Experience in administration, preferably within a professional or commercial setting.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard MS Office software.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
