School PFI Expiry Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead the expiry planning for the Schools PFI contract in Southampton. The role will be hybrid and initially for six months, with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of the PFI expiry planning and early activity delivery for the Schools contract.
• Manage the contract to ensure service excellence, value for money and compliance with council objectives.
• Contribute to the wider PFI Expiry Project, sharing best practice with the Streetlighting PFI expiry phase.
• Analyse contract clauses and translate them into actionable expiry plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in contract management, procurement or commercial service delivery.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of PFI contracts and their operation.
• Understanding of facilities management, statutory compliance and asset management.
