Science Teacher – KS3 & KS4 (Chelmsford)

About the role

Protocol Education is partnering with a forward‑thinking secondary school in Chelmsford to recruit a qualified Science Teacher. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, practical science lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting GCSE preparation and contributing to the wider school community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum‑aligned science lessons for KS3 and KS4.
• Prepare students for GCSE science examinations.
• Maintain effective classroom management and a safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues on cross‑curricular projects and school initiatives.
• Participate in staff development and safeguarding training.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
• Strong subject knowledge in science and a passion for teaching.
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 pupils.
• Student‑focused, motivated approach.

Required skills

• Effective classroom management techniques.
