Science Teacher – Secondary Schools, Southampton (Full‑Time, Sep 2026)

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Science Teachers to join secondary schools in Southampton starting September 2026 (or sooner for the right candidate). You will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with occasional opportunities to teach Key Stage 5.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality Science lessons for mixed‑ability classes (KS3‑KS4).
• Adapt teaching methods to support inclusive learning and cater to diverse student needs.
• Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and assessment processes.
• Participate in whole‑school activities, extracurricular clubs, and community events.
• Maintain accurate records, mark assignments, and provide constructive feedback.

Required profile

• Qualified Science Teacher status (QTS or equivalent).
• Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science.
• Commitment to inclusive, engaging teaching practices.
• Willingness to contribute positively to the wider school community.

Required skills

• Qualified Science Teacher (QTS) certification.
