Secondary General Cover Teacher (KS3–KS4)

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Secondary General Cover Teachers to deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 in Bracknell schools. This flexible, daily‑rate position allows you to work where and when you prefer, supporting pupils and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned curriculum and keep the class focused and on‑task.
• Provide additional support to students who need extra help.
• Follow each school’s policies, ensuring safety and inclusivity.
• Adapt quickly to new classroom settings and varied timetables.
• Provide constructive feedback to school staff after each placement.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Recent experience in a UK classroom setting.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
