Secondary School Teacher (KS3 & KS4) – Birmingham

About the role
Prospero Teaching is recruiting qualified secondary school teachers for flexible teaching assignments across Birmingham and surrounding areas. Positions are available on a daily supply basis as well as longer‑term contracts, covering both full‑time and part‑time options during term time.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4 within your specialist subject.
- Monitor student progress, assess attainment and implement targeted interventions.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes good behaviour and learning.
- Collaborate with department colleagues, pastoral teams, SEN staff and senior leaders to uphold high teaching standards.
- Contribute to the wider development of pupils, supporting academic achievement, wellbeing and personal growth.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and up‑to‑date safeguarding training (or willingness to undertake training).
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
