About the role
Academics is seeking secondary supply teachers to work in schools across Tring and the surrounding Hertfordshire area starting this September. The role offers flexible, short‑term or longer‑term assignments to match your availability.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons across a range of secondary subjects.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and timetables.
- Support students’ progress and wellbeing during temporary placements.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Reliability, adaptability and confidence in the classroom.
- Passion for supporting students and delivering high‑quality lessons.
