Security Officer

About the role

As a Security Officer at Canary Wharf you will protect the estate, its people and assets while delivering excellent customer service. You will work across day, night and weekend shifts in a high‑profile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide physical protection of the Canary Wharf estate from external and internal threats.
• Safeguard customers' property, people and assets.
• Conduct regular patrolling, searching and emergency response procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service and produce clear, accurate reports.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Required profile

• Valid SIA Door Supervision licence.
• CCTV licence.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant employment history.
• Professional, flexible attitude with the ability to problem‑solve under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and a customer‑focused approach.
• Ability to work outside in all weather.
